包世臣 (1775-1855)

款識：
盡交天下賢豪長者，常作江上煙月主人。
梅溪先生文學淹通，襟懷駿朗友善，論古幾極縱橫，不牽纓組之塵，獨領湖山之勝，蓋三江名宿中一人而已。予昔邂逅邗江，即承激賞，閱今且三十年，久而彌摯，古稱善交，無以過是。今年政七十，神明如壯，真有道之士也。撰句修觴，或期有當。道光八年春，安吳包世臣并記。

鈐印：「包世臣印」、「慎伯」。

藏印： 「王文心印」、「邱國華聚三十六年精力所得」、「三餘堂珍藏章」。

民國時期書畫收藏家王文心舊藏

王文心（1888-1974），又名王聞新，號保授，湖北荊門人。在滬營商，曾任屈臣氏汽水公司董事長。他好收藏，涉獵範圍包括書畫、印章等，其「蒙泉書屋」收藏極豐。

註：「梅溪」即錢泳（1759-1844），江蘇無錫人，清中期學者，歷乾嘉道三朝，布衣終生，卻因精研金石碑版字畫而長期游幕於權貴之家，一生足迹遍及大江南北。包世臣與錢氏同嗜金石，撰此聯以贈，概述梅溪之性格胸襟，非相知深交，毋出此言！長跋又附二人之過從往來，亦堪補正史之不足。
