重要私人收藏「嶺南畫派」作品 （編號 1123－1126）

一九三九年，值抗戰局勢危急，高奇峰先生義女張坤儀，親攜一批高氏墨迹經香港赴美，以免淪入敵手。抵美國後，先後在北美、歐洲等地舉辦高氏及其作品聯展。該批作品包括山水、花卉、翎毛走獸等，堪稱海外最為重要的嶺南畫派代表作。後轉歸美國劉榮蕭氏，並於八十年代分別借展香港及台北，以弘揚嶺南畫藝。

註：張坤儀題曰「奇峰少年傑作」，畫中寫豆莢雙雞，雌雄成對，其構圖與著色技巧，可與香港藝術館藏之〈棠梨雙鷄〉互相參照，敷粉渲染，尤見功力。
