The overall condition is very good, with only a few occasional pinpricks and minor glaze unevenness to the mouth and foot. The actual vase is of a milky blue tone, more saturated than the catalogue illustration would suggest.

本品造型簡潔，線條流暢，溫素儒雅，與乾隆繁縟之風成鮮明對比。通觀此器，足見時匠高超瓷藝。單色釉器，製之不易，需取純土，施精工，罩勻釉，穩火入窰，佳器方成。各道工序無數，但見瑕疵，前工盡棄。乾隆一朝，匠技精嫻，小品大器，捻手可成。本品釉色青雅，溫潤如玉，足施鐵汁，意仿汝器。汝、官、哥、鈞、定，合稱宋代五大名窰。乾隆好古，喜宋瓷，遍集五窰名器無數，且不惜工本大力仿之。
