The overall condition is very good with only some typical stained burst air bubbles. The actual colour is slightly more brownish.

洪武釉裏紅，相較明初各類器，存世甚罕。元瓷飾風，粗曠豪放，多作出口之用。洪武紋飾，規矩工整，彰顯恭造之式，屬官器無疑。據劉新園先生研究，洪武一朝，釉裏紅器多有訂燒，然銅紅嬌火，遂正色之品尤少，詳見〈景德鎮珠山出土的明初與永樂官窰瓷器之研究〉，《景德鎮出土明初官窰瓷器》，台北，1996年，頁52。
