Acquired in Tibet in the 1970s.

The thangka is in its original textile mount. There are 3 vertical creases extending from the top end rim to the bottom end rim. There are some light horizontal creases. There is loss to the pigments along the left and right side of of the painting. There are areas of light loss to the pigment overall to the painting.The colours are more saturated and richer than the catalogue illustration suggests There is extensive staining to the textile around the painting and to parts of the cloth of the painting.
