Condition

The vase on the left hand side of the catalogue illustration: Is in overall good condition. There is light wear to the gold-painted parts of the design which is very detailed and the iron-red painted fish are nice and lively. There are some pin-point imperfections and glaze pulls to the glaze inside the rim, neck and base. The vase on the right hand side of the catalogue illustration: Is in overall good condition with the exception of a ca. 3cm wide chip to the foot rim. The gilding is worn and not as detailed as on the other vase of the pair, the carp are detailed and lively. There are some pin-point imperfections and glaze pulls to the glaze inside the rim, neck and base and there is light fritting to the rim.
