Condition
The stem of the lotus flower held in the duck's beak and the flower is broken off and missing. There are tiny fritts to the raised parts of the carving. The stone of the duck's head and beak is slightly calcified and there is very light pitting to the stone in this area as well as a small fritted area to the left corner of its beak. The colour of the stone is of a darker, more celadon tone turning to a light brown tone on the upper back and head than the catalogue illustration suggests.
