高五寸六分，口徑三寸。腹飾以素純，銅色青綠者銹，洵可喜之。以為（机）上之一，亦可樂也。平安藏六生觀。
周父乙素文觶。此觶底內有銘曰父乙，是殷人之俗也。然而按其器形，頸長口緣侈，圜足亦侈，此凡為周初之制。亦器表有帛痕不少。總之可能於西周早期，為殷族後裔所包在帛布中而埋葬在父日乙墓中者矣。乙酉九月吉日，松丸道雄記於世田谷天童樓。
