This work is in very good condition. There is a light scratch, approximately 2 centimeters in length, and minor abrasion near the upper left edge. Also there are scattered small flecks of paint loss, mainly located on the right side of the painting. Under UV light there is evidence of restoration, particularly scattered along the top edge and top right corner, with some in the white area above the lamp.

《慶祝》（拍品編號5121）和《煤油燈》（拍品編號 5122）的創造技法以平塗為主，構圖簡約，用色大膽。《慶祝》採用鮮豔的顏色及卡通般簡約、誇張的筆劃，散播了濃烈的夏威夷土著熱帶風情和歡樂氣氛；畫面看似一幅天真無邪的塗鴉，其中粗輪廓的抽象人物和動物與凯斯•哈林（Keith Haring）日後風靡全球的創作有異曲同工之妙。《煤油燈》雖可見立體主義（Cubism）的影響，但卻沒有對物象進行全面的拆解，而且把立體派拒絕的豐麗色彩再度帶回畫面，加以抒情的幾何圖形，表現了燈火光影律動的感覺。
