Condition
This work is in very good condition. The top two corners have artist pinholes, while the top edge has scattered spots of foxing, inherent to the aging process.

古屋指引了我繪畫的道路
「此時此刻，令我最感動、沉迷，而覺得至美的東西，就是台灣古老的房子。這種傳統的中國建築，是經過千百年來的演變，成為廣大中國人生活要求的造型。密切地與人關連著，形成中國人最高的理念，與滿足的『家』。
從中國建築裡，我才看清中國人的靈魂、民族的特性、中國人的意欲、宇宙觀、美學、色彩學、高超的技藝、神奇的創造力。而這些偉大的藝術結晶，隱藏在平凡的鄉村之中。台灣古屋是我汲取不盡的靈感泉源，它指引著我走我繪畫的道路，向藝術領域探索。」
