This work is in good condition. There is slight discolouration and scattered spots of foxing, inherent to the aging process. There also appears to be a mark, perhaps a finger print, probably made during creation, about 12 centimeters from the bottom.

「一張照片，只能顯示一瞬間人的外表現象。一張畫像，因為是透過了藝術家的主觀意識，由兩隻眼睛的視點，加上長時間的觀察和領悟，所呈現在畫上的人像，自然複雜得多，包含得廣…。人的臉，是會表演的面具。藝術家往往要試探，去揭開這面具下所存在的真實。一張孩子或少女的臉，除了純真的美與青春的光彩之外，別無其他。可是一個成人則具有風姿與個性、人生的經歷與歲月的痕跡。」
