Condition
This work is in excellent condition. There is a light scratch, 1.5 cm in length, at the upper right corner. Under UV light there are some very minor spots of fluorescence scattered along the right edge, presumably inherent to the artist's working method.

劉溢筆下的世界光怪陸離，擅長以極為逼真的畫面產生莫名的奇幻、神秘感，《煙花女》突破油畫二維平面的常規，將空間按畫面作立體化呈現，使觀眾神馳目眩，難以分辨畫中人物的內外關係，其猶如懸浮半空的場景、匐伏在地的裸女，更添作品張力，正如藝術家的央美同學陳丹青所指出：「劉溢的情色裸女並不意在情色，而在傳達一種近於掙紮的形式的想象，這種想象無意指向任何意涵或世俗激情，而是，將這掙扎的想象竭力美化、技術化、非現實化，構成一組空洞而富麗，並不斷自我繁殖的幻象。」
