The bronze is cast in sections, as such there are slightly visible original joints and screws.

拍品資料及來源

The owner of a Viennese foundry, Bergman specialised in creating decorative objects in cold-painted bronze. His works bear the signature marking of a ‘B’ in an urn-shaped cartouche. However it has been suggested that on the erotic works which he is best known for, he would inscribe ‘Nam Greb’ - ‘Bergman’ in reverse - in order to disguise his identity.
