The work is in good condition overall, as is the board, which is free from warping. There is light wear and handling around the edges of the painting inherent to the framing process, but paint layers are well-preserved. Upon close observation reveals pin-sized brown spots of media accretion located on the upper right corner and on the tail of the white/ grey goldfish. Under ultraviolet light inspection, a minute spot of restoration is evident on the middle of the lower register (dark brown/ black rocks) and on the middle section of the left border (approximately the height of the orange goldfish). Framed.
