This painting is in very good condition. Very close inspection shows scattered areas of drying craquelure that are inherent to the medium, and under raking light there are 4 extremely faint and stable hairline cracks towards the far center right of the upper left quadrant, and one towards the top right corner. There is a small compression and associated craquelure 28½" from the bottom, near the left edge of the canvas. There are scattered spots of light wear around the extreme edges and at the corners. Under ultraviolet light there are no apparent restorations. The canvas is framed in a wood frame painted black with a narrow float.
