In fair to good condition commensurate with age.The faience is discolored and most of the green glaze has worn away. Calcification is visible in the upper right corner of the fragment. The gold case has slight chips to enamel on front and there is evidence of enamel repair of the reverse border. There are three screws missing from the case top and bottom and indentations to gold surface on back. The back of hemisphere numbered, obscured, _57351.The coral is a deep slightly orangy red, the ivory bears some discoloration due to age and the lapis is a deep very slightly violetish blue with small flecks of pyrite visible under magnification. The necklace is strung on cord and is stable. The 30 old European-cut and single-cut diamonds in the pendant weigh approximately .70 carat and the 96 rose-cut diamonds in the rondelles weigh approximately .45 carat. The diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. Potential bidders who intend to export this lot are advised that certain permits are required for export.
