明正德 黃釉撇口盌 《大明正德年製》款

the deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a gently everted rim, applied overall with a rich yellow glaze of deep even tone, the unglazed footring burnt orange around the inner edge, the white base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within a double ring

The bowl is very slightly warped, but otherwise it is in very good condition. Minor surface scratches as can be expected.

倫敦維多利亞與艾伯特博物館藏品中，有相類盌例， 錄於 John Ayers，《Far Eastern Ceramics in the Victoria and Albert Museum》，倫敦， 1980年， 圖版155。 仇炎之舊藏中也有相類黃釉盌，先後售於香港蘇富比及香港佳士得，分別為1980年11月25日，編號53，及2002年10 月28 日，編號685。紐約蘇富比於1995年9 月23 日也曾售一器，與本品相近，編號421。同類瓷盌，也有體型較小者，例可見 Cunliffe 勛爵舊藏，也載於康蕊君，《玫茵堂中國陶瓷》，卷2，倫敦， 1994 年，圖版 1418，或另一售於香港蘇富比1988年11 月15 日之瓷盌，編號150。
