Condition
In good condition. The rubellite is medium deep very slightly purplish red and lightly included, some scratching to the table and some abrasion to the facet junctions are evident under magnification. The stone is slightly loose in the mounting, but stable. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The mounting tests as 18 karat gold though it is not stamped. The shank shows moderate denting and scratching due to wear.
