款識：
孟生還，領書教，並賜大字二墨，喜出望外。從遊不倦，而不得公大字, 以為缺典，故輙見意始望數字耳, 豈敢覬許大卷乎？ 張君又有假虎之說，每不敢當。公若不嫌,有何不可？ 比日台候何如？萬乞為國自重。
蕭相樓詩固見之，子由又說樓之雄傑，稱公之風烈。記文固願掛名，豈復以鄙拙為解？但比來未嘗敢作文字。《經藏記》皆迦語，想醞釀無由, 故敢出之。 若此文，當俟年載間為之，如何？仲殊法，必得其詳，許傳授，莫大之賜也。此道人久欲遊盧山, 不審有行期未？若蒙一過，又望外之喜也。
近得筠州舍弟書，教以省事。若能省之又省，則其中自有至樂，殆不可名。此法奇祕，惟不肖與公共之，不可廣也。
篠園世大兄大人雅鑒，子貞何紹基。
