上款：「成宗」即莊成宗，閩籍人士，居香江營商，曾任香港福建
同鄉會會長。與政界及文藝界人士多有往還，獲國民政府要員寫
贈書法頗夥。尤嗜趙少昂畫藝，在三、四十年代屢得貽贈畫作，
條幅箑面，俱精工細寫，極見用心。本幅寫於抗戰烽火甫起，少
昂避兵香澥，借寓莊氏居所，埋首筆硯，得畫甚多。從題跋內
容，清楚交待兩人交情之切，也說明了他在盤桓莊氏寓所期間，
佳作迭生之因由。
