Condition
This large dish is in very good condition with the exception of some minor and light glaze scratches. It should be noted that the yellow is of a richer egg-yolk colour than the catalogue illustration would suggest.

本品尺寸碩大，黃釉釉色瑩潤亮澤，精美超群。一件相關作品錄於《Handbook of the Mr and Mrs John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection》，亞洲協會博物館，紐約，1979年，頁79（右下）。另一作例曾兩度售於香港蘇富比1981年11月24日，編號136及1987年11月24日，編號42。再一作例曾售於香港佳士得2007年5月29日，編號1484。另可參考三件尺寸略小之作例：其一錄於《天民樓藏瓷》，香港，1987，圖版136；另一件為大維德爵士典藏，現存大英博物館，錄於《Illustrated Catalogue of Ming and Qing Monochrome Wares》，倫敦，1989年，圖版597；最後一件屬Hall 家族典藏，曾兩度售於香港蘇富比1977年5月16日，編號65及2000年5月2日，編號504。
