delicately constructed with lobed sides flaring from a circular recessed centre to an everted rim, divided into six lobes by thin slivers of metal radiating around the cavetto, coated overall in a deep red lacquer, save for the countersunk base lacquered in black and inscribed in red paint with an illegible seal mark, the rim encircled with a copper band

Condition
There is some star-shaped cracks on the interior with slight retouching in two areas, there are similar crackles on the base, apart from this, the lacquer dish is in good condition.
