each with rounded sides supported on a slightly tapered foot, finely decorated on the interior in the wucai palette with two addorsed crenulated 'C'-shaped foliate scrolls centred on a post issuing green leaves, all enclosed with double lines repeated at the rim, the exterior similarly decorated with detached strapwork motifs repeated in pairs, alternating with leafy scrolls suspending trefoils, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

There are a few minor iron spots, a couple minute pin-holes and very light wear to the enamels, but apart from this, both dishes are in very good condition.
