Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant, with the purple tending more towards a soft lilac in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Upon very close inspection, there is a tiny scratch to the lower extreme tip of the black base. There are three very fine and short rubs towards the lower left side of the figure 8, visible only upon very close inspection, and a few tiny specks of paint loss to the extreme left outer edge of the lower half of the work. There are a few further tiny specks of paint loss to the extreme outer edge of the figure 8 on the opposite side to this and a few shot rubs in places elsewhere, all of which are light and unobtrusive.
