the rounded sides rising from a raised foot to an everted rim, the exterior deeply carved with a ruyi-cloud scroll exposing the multiple layers of black and red to a yellow ground, the interior lined with an alloy with a silver-mounted mouth rim and base
Condition
There is a 1/4 in. crack to the rim and expected cracks and minor losses to the lacquer in the grooves. There is a shallow scratch to the exterior. The silver and alloy metal have tarnished. There is a 2 in. section of the silver mount missing from the base and minor associated tears.
