繪錦雞成雙立岸頭，凝望上方彩鳥，正自騰飛與侶相逢，彼卻傲佇枝上，躋身雌雄綬鳥之間。壺頸繞飾回紋，下綴如意垂雲。外底藍料署「乾隆年製」四字楷款。

The snuff bottle is in overall very good condition with only a few very superficial scratches and light wear to the gilding on the foot.

與本品上繪飾構圖相類之器，有見金屬或料胎畫琺瑯例，數量不多，但器形各異。西雅圖藝術博物館有一近例，繪飾相類，惟作葫蘆形，署「嘉慶御製」款。由此可推斷，本品應製於乾隆晚期。
