Condition
The canvas has been lined, although it is unclear whether this is a relining or merely a strip-lining as the reverse is covered by a layer of paint. Ultraviolet light reveals just a couple of very minor signs of retouching addressing frame-rubbing. This painting is in good condition.
Held in a simple gilt frame.
