藍蔭鼎─農家樂

出生於1903年的藍蔭鼎，為台灣知名藝術家，出身農村的他自小以自然為師，展露極高的藝術天分。1924年他跟隨日本著名水彩畫家石川欽一郎學畫，其後並在石川的推薦下入東京美術學校與京都美術學校進修。藍蔭鼎的創作以寫生為主，而其最膾炙人口的作品主題，始終是他最鍾愛的農家景物與台灣鄉間如詩的田園風光。

藝術史評家謝里法曾言：「藍蔭鼎雙腳踩踏的是鄉野的泥土，雙手沾的卻是社會最上層的光和彩。」藍蔭鼎一生成名甚早，如在1926年，其作品即入選日本最具權威的「帝國美術院展覽會」，在當時為莫大殊榮。1971年他被歐洲與美國藝術評論學會選為「世界十大水彩畫家」之一。其畫作並受英國劍橋美術館、西班牙國立美術館，台北市立美術館收藏。藍蔭鼎擅長以流動的透明水彩，將農村恬靜生活中最單純的喜樂入畫，在他輕透亮麗的用色與輕快活潑的下筆中，農家的勤奮、樸實、活力與鄉林間的自然美景一一躍然紙上，勾起觀者童年的回憶。此《農家樂》即為其創作之經典表徵。
