The support consists of a single, stable, flat panel. The paint surface is generally secure but there is an area of discolouration and damage to the varnish in the centre of the figure of the Madonna, the paint underneath appears not to have been damaged but it is impossible to tell. Overall the varnish is very dirty and yellowed. inspection under UV light is impeded by the aforementioned varnish although the area of the aforementioned damage does fluoresce. Offered in a stained wooden frame in good condition with some minor losses.
