The support, bevelled on all four edges, consists of three horizontal panels joined to the reverse by two vertical batons and overall has a very slight convex bow. There is a small baton affixed to the reverse in the upper left corner where there was obviously some old damage along the margin. The paint surface is now secure although thin with signs of old lifting under the dirty yellowed varnish. Inspection under UV light is impeded by the aforementioned varnish although an area of restoration is evident in Venus’s torso. Offered in a stained wooden frame structurally sound and in fair condition overall.
