拍品資料及來源

“Women make up the first and dominant subject of Anita Magsaysay-Ho, one of the country’s senior modernists and foremost woman artists, for it is a subject that naturally and authentically grows out of her self-knowledge. For the artist, the art of painting becomes a projection of the self as it responds to different influences and circumstances and moves towards realization. In her paintings, women, whether working in the fields, winnowing grain, pulling nets at sea, catching chickens or tending birds, interact with another in the choreography of a universal sisterhood.”
