武高談

The work is in good condition overall. There are a few pin-sized holes particularly to the background area, in the upper middle (around the neck of the figure), but only apprent upon close inspection. There is a run of 6 cm long to the silk located on the upper left margin. Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.

武高談於1931年持獎學金往法國求學，其後在巴黎生活至1949年。期間，他研究色彩、簡約和一種涵括東西傳承的風格。武高談以幼細線條描繪柔和的田原景象，母與子、持花女子、撫琴女子及詩境中的越南女子皆為他喜愛題材。

武高談曾為雕塑家，這一點從他筆下圓潤柔美、翩翩多姿的輪廓中不難看出。絹上水墨及水粉散發著一種耐人尋味的靈氣，細膩而秀氣。

《藍衣女子》（Jeune Fille en Bleu）展現絹上繪畫的優雅與精緻。整幅被覆上嫩綠和淡藍的調子，婉約姿態和詩情畫意流露於祥和色彩。此作不僅顯示武高談自如的筆法與精湛的技藝，也表露出他在外來文化衝擊下所保留的越南神髓。
