“But I don’t just want to just fulfill the conventional requirements of sculpture. Instead, I was interested in the various questions around three-dimensional forms. I think as far as a work is three-dimensional, it is a sculpture no matter if it is posted on the wall or otherwise displayed. Someone asked me once, “What good is it in making a sculpture to post on the wall?” Well, what’s wrong with that? Volume and form remain there, don’t they?”
