在克裡絲汀（Ay Tjoe Christine）的作品中，結構總擔當重要角色，一方面她著迷於結構，但與此同時，她排斥其拘泥形式。克裡絲汀視作畫為一種釋放，在畫的領域裡，她是造物者，也是建築師。這獨立自主、不盲從的精神使她的思想不受框架局限，為了克服紙張單薄的限制，她把水墨及紙上石墨作品複製於畫板之上，以彰顯其強烈的效果。
