明初至空白期 甜白釉帶蓋執壺

器身作玉壺春瓶式，盤口，束頸，垂腹，圈足。一側有彎流纖長，以曲狀形飾與壺身相連。另一側則飾帶狀曲柄，上附小繫，下端與器身相接處有三根鉚釘。通體裏外罩施甜白釉，勻淨素雅。蓋頂拱圓，蓮苞鈕，蓋內滿釉。

There is a small chip restored to the tip end of the spout, approx. 0.5 x 0.5 cm on the lower section, otherwise the ewer and cover are in good condition. The colour of the object is very simlar to the illustration.

明代白釉執壺的燒製，由始至終，幾乎從無間斷，但是次拍品的造型獨特，乃極其稀罕之作。此壺釉色溫潤如玉，是永樂時期典型的甜白釉，顯示製於明初。然而其形態、及流與頸之間的曲狀形飾，卻又略異於永樂年間流行的細頸及雲板形飾。與此品相似器形，可參見湖北省鐘祥市洪熙皇帝（1425年在位）之子梁莊王朱瞻垍墓出土的金壺，收錄於梁柱編，《梁莊王墓》，北京，2007年，上冊，頁32，圖25，及下冊，彩圖19（圖一）。根據該枚金壺銘文紀年，其由皇室作坊製作於洪熙元年（1425年）。儘管該金壺的雲板形飾與兩側腹部的桃形設計與是次拍品不同，但其整體比例與壺蓋造型，皆與此器相近。

現器上呈S形之曲狀形飾，雖然更普遍見於明中後期執壺，但較早時便已出現。如宋晟家族墓葬群中的葉氏（逝於1418年）墓，出土白釉帶蓋壺。該壺製作年代較早，應為葉氏生前所用，參見J.M. Addis，《Chinese Ceramics from Datable Tombs and Some Other Dated Material》，倫敦及紐約，1978年，圖版39p。其線描圖則可見耿寶昌，《明清瓷器鑒定》，香港，1993年，頁8，圖1:2，書中作者認為該執壺屬洪武時期製作。

是次拍品器形與晚明執壺非常接近，如玫茵堂收藏的萬曆銘款執壺，收錄於康蕊君，前述出處，卷2，編號691。而其胎和釉，則與攻茵堂的永樂甜白釉爵幾乎一致，參見康蕊君，前述出處，卷2，編號654。
