明初至空白期 甜白釉帶蓋執壺

描述

器身作玉壺春瓶式,盤口,束頸,垂腹,圈足。一側有彎流纖長,以曲狀形飾與壺身相連。另一側則飾帶狀曲柄,上附小繫,下端與器身相接處有三根鉚釘。通體裏外罩施甜白釉,勻淨素雅。蓋頂拱圓,蓮苞鈕,蓋內滿釉。

Condition

There is a small chip restored to the tip end of the spout, approx. 0.5 x 0.5 cm on the lower section, otherwise the ewer and cover are in good condition. The colour of the object is very simlar to the illustration.

拍品資料及來源

明代白釉執壺的燒製,由始至終,幾乎從無間斷,但是次拍品的造型獨特,乃極其稀罕之作。此壺釉色溫潤如玉,是永樂時期典型的甜白釉,顯示製於明初。然而其形態、及流與頸之間的曲狀形飾,卻又略異於永樂年間流行的細頸及雲板形飾。與此品相似器形,可參見湖北省鐘祥市洪熙皇帝(1425年在位)之子梁莊王朱瞻垍墓出土的金壺,收錄於梁柱編,《梁莊王墓》,北京,2007年,上冊,頁32,圖25,及下冊,彩圖19(圖一)。根據該枚金壺銘文紀年,其由皇室作坊製作於洪熙元年(1425年)。儘管該金壺的雲板形飾與兩側腹部的桃形設計與是次拍品不同,但其整體比例與壺蓋造型,皆與此器相近。

現器上呈S形之曲狀形飾,雖然更普遍見於明中後期執壺,但較早時便已出現。如宋晟家族墓葬群中的葉氏(逝於1418年)墓,出土白釉帶蓋壺。該壺製作年代較早,應為葉氏生前所用,參見J.M. Addis,《Chinese Ceramics from Datable Tombs and Some Other Dated Material》,倫敦及紐約,1978年,圖版39p。其線描圖則可見耿寶昌,《明清瓷器鑒定》,香港,1993年,頁8,圖1:2,書中作者認為該執壺屬洪武時期製作。

是次拍品器形與晚明執壺非常接近,如玫茵堂收藏的萬曆銘款執壺,收錄於康蕊君,前述出處,卷2,編號691。而其胎和釉,則與攻茵堂的永樂甜白釉爵幾乎一致,參見康蕊君,前述出處,卷2,編號654。
