明十五世紀 白釉劃纏枝蓮紋蓋罐

罐短頸內歛，豐肩，腹下漸收，臥足。器身劃纏枝蓮紋，上下輔飾俯仰蓮瓣紋。除足底外，通體罩施白釉。罐與蓋作子母口式。蓋飾蓮苞鈕，平素無紋，內外滿釉。

The rim of the jar is broken and restored with some re spray on approx. 38 cm. of the rim, and with an associated S-shape crack extending onto the body on one side (approx. 25 cm.). There is another V-shape crack above the shoulder on the opposite side (approx.13 cm.). There are burst air bubbles and imperfections in the glaze around the body, some iron spots and scattered firing impurities on the cover. There is a chip restored to the rim of the cover with re spray on approx. 15 cm. of the rim. The actual colour is slightly more tinged with blue than the catalogue illustration.

如斯碩大之明永樂白釉劃纏枝蓮花紋蓋罐，極為罕見。明御窰廠遺址宣德地層出土相類蓋罐，尺寸稍大，卻素面無紋，曾展於《景德鎮珠山出土永樂宣德官窰瓷器展覽》，香港藝術館，香港，1989年，編號65。
