The circular plaque brooch millegrain-set with circular- and calibré-cut rubies and rose diamonds, circa 1915; together with a pair of later earrings of similar design, set with circular-cut rubies and baguette diamonds, post and butterfly fittings, unsigned, possibly by John Donald.

Condition

Rubies in brooch medium red, rubies in earring light purplish red, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Diamonds bright and lively. One earring with post fitting bent, could benefit from attention by a professional jeweller. Brooch with scratches and visible discolouration typical with age and wear, brooch fitting possibly replaced. In good condition.
