款識:
〈畫〉閉門高臥養天真,落日秋聲曲水濱。為寫江湖漂泊態,谿山清絕不逢人。崇禎癸酉(1633)仲秋,畫似紫玄社長兄教。硯田莊居士。
〈書〉(李白〈古風〉八首,詳文不錄)紫玄社兄夙負能書,書不入俗,故不為俗眸識取,亦不肯輕賞俗書。其言何書家道宗,典雅終歸自然,刻畫支離,俱傷雅道旨哉乎。鄙書不工,願附同調。壬寅(1602)初春,命我錄李白〈古風〉八首,遂不敢自覆其拙云。
鈐印:「王建章印」、「仲初父」、「王建章印」。
藏印:「帆景樓」、「宮子行玉父共欣賞」(二鈐)、「泰州宮氏珍藏」(三鈐)、「覺庵鑑藏書畫」(二鈐)、「歸稼軒藏」(二鈐)、「宮本昂字子行亦曰紫珩又字千里」(二鈐)、「肅親王」、「偶遂亭主」、「宮」(二鈐)、「宮子行同弟玉父寶之」(兩鈐)、「賢者而後樂此」。
上款:「紫玄」,應為宮紫玄,尚未考其生平,據〈中國美術家人名辭典〉載,硯田與宮紫玄、惲道生諸人友善。按硯田款識,推知紫玄亦工書善詩,且不與俗流。清初著名詩人宋琬(1614-1674)在其〈安雅堂集〉中有「贈宮紫玄二章」,應為同一「紫玄」。

Condition
- Papers of both scrolls bear a tanning tone due to age.
- Several restorations can be found on the painting with the largest one measuring 5 x 0.4 cm.
- Two small groups of foxing spots, one at the beginning and one at the middle of the painting scroll.
- Several light creases throughout the painting scroll.
- Several restorations can also be found on the calligraphy with the largest one measuring 3.5 x 0.5 cm at the beginning of the scroll.

註:按鈐印故知,本一書一畫二卷原乃泰州宮本昂收藏,後傳至南湖即小萬柳堂主人廉泉(1868-1931)。廉氏嗜好書畫、金石,並於一九O八年創辦文明書局,曾精選宮氏珍藏明清扇畫出版珂羅版畫集一套。
「瓢叟」即顏世清 (1873-1929),字韻伯。足跛,人稱顏跛子。廣東連平人,寄居北京。於政界多年,提倡文化最力。精鑒富收藏。
肅親王,生卒年不詳。名善耆,號偶遂亭主,清宗室。光緒二十四年(1898)襲爵。累官至内閣民政大臣、理藩大臣。
