- Overall in good condition, except the silks bear a light tanning tone due to age.
- Light stain spots can be found here and there.
- The colors of the illustration appear to be more intense than that of the actual pieces.

This album by Zhao Wendu is elegant, robust, and beautiful. In style it is quite akin to Oubo laoren (Zhao Mengfu, 1254-1332), like a collaboration with him. Among Xiyuan's (superfluous) things, this one is among the best. Whoever possesses it should treasure it. (On the mounting material of the first leaf.)
