Condition
-There appears to be discolouration of the painting due to age. A small hole appears to be found at the bottom of the painting, where the lotus leaf is, which could be improved by restoration. A word in the inscription appears to be lost due to abrasion of the paper, as seen in the inscription. Otherwise, generally in fair condition.

圖，筆墨皆取輕盈，構圖簡潔，用色渲染尤見雅淡。翠鳥單足縮
爪立於橫伸之荷梗上，梗幹末端稍呈下墜狀，弱不禁風之姿，恰
好呼應詩意之纖巧細膩。未署年款，考其畫風、題款書體，以及
落款自謂，似屬五十年代初期之作。
圖，筆墨皆取輕盈，構圖簡潔，用色渲染尤見雅淡。翠鳥單足縮
