註：謝稚柳一九六○年作〈竹禽圖〉，題曰「煙江樓寫生」。畫中
飛禽兩對，一雙翱翔於竹叢中，另雙隱棲於枝葉交織處，若與本
幅對照，可推乃同期所出，取同一題材各自衍發而成，雖曰「寫
生」，但經提煉而成，極見用心。
本幅截取〈竹禽圖〉左下方構圖為基礎，兩雀造型類近，位置不
一，竹叢枝葉散聚分佈有異，上方添綴折枝梨花橫出，與垂伸的
琅玕呈平衡畫面之勢。兩畫用筆細秀，狀物傳神，如飛禽、如瘦
竹，俱精確無誤；敷彩雅淡，清麗之色，溢於紙上，從兩畫題款
格式、書法風格互証，應同屬一九六○年之作。
