註:東坡居士傳誦千古之〈前、後赤壁賦〉乃大千先生屢納入畫之
題材,晚年亦輒寫之。本幅無年款,僅示地點為東瀛,即畫家
五、六十年代經常小留之處。從畫風、設色視之,非工細如五十
年代所出,其沉鬱厚重,取法清湘而演變為自我面貌,特別見諸
六十年代初風格從大寫意過渡至潑墨潑彩的階段,相類畫風者成
為此時的特徵。若參考「梅雲堂」珍藏一九六二年秋所作〈風盪晚
波〉尤為接近。是年春秋兩季,大千皆居停日本,留下不少佳構。
復証諸藏者憶述約於六十年代得之,六二年作品之推斷,殆無誤
耳!
畫中構圖緊湊,上下呼應,即使不錄文字,〈後赤壁賦〉中所述俱
化作眼前景象,處理以刪繁擷簡手法,直指其要。雖云是時不事
細工,但筆墨淋漓紛披處,描劃精準,收拾得宜,松濤、波浪,
皆呈動感,洵屬用心之作。他晚年再寫此題材,錄詩曰「獨履巉巖
上,濤喧萬壑松;馮夷空自舞,二客與難從。」若與本幅畫面相
配,益見詩畫互証之意。
