of rectangular section, supported on four cabriole legs issuing from animal masks, the straight neck rising to a lipped rim and flanked by a pair of dragon handles, the body carved with stylised taotie masks, all surmounted by a cover with a mythical beast finial, the stone of a pale apple-green tone suffused with milky white inclusions
Condition
This censer and cover is in good condition, but does have a coupl of minor nicks to each side of the rim of the censer. There are flaws running through the stone to the legs and body. There is remnants of cellotape to the rim of the cover and censer.
