It is rare to find Yongzheng bowls of this type with incised celadon-glazed leaves surrounding the copper-red fruit, as it is difficult to achieve a satisfactory result with both these high-firing glazes. A similar Yongzheng-marked bowl of identical size and decoration in the Meiyintang Collection was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 4th April 2012, lot 25.
