Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original, with more dark green undertones in the background.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is light wear to all four corners. Upon close inspection, there are a very small number of tiny losses along the top extreme edge. There is some minor shrinkage in some of the lighter areas of pigment, notably towards the centre of the composition beneath the top edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
