of rectangular section finely incised and enamelled in bright green against an ochre-yellow ground with two confronting five-clawed dragon writhing among clouds in dispute for a flaming pearl, with bluging eyes, gaping jaws and a free flowing mane, their powerful scaly body emitting flames, the tile set within a wood frame supported on a carved wood stand, the supports and stretchers finely carved in openwork with stylised archaistic dragons with sinuous bodies forming feathery scrolls and taotie masks on the sides
Condition
The tile is in quite good condition with only some expected firing imperfections. There are some age cracks, chips and minor repairs to the wood frame and stand, but overall the table screen is in good condition.
