盃敞口呈圓形，斜直壁，矮圈足。器內光素無紋，外壁腰間淺浮雕仿古夔龍紋一道。盃壁一面飾螭龍成雙，皆浮雕鏤空，其中一螭，頭長獨角，長尾分岔，沿壁上攀，探首盃內；另外一螭，俯身往下，戲擒彼獸之尾。足底內凹，淺雕陽文「韻夫」篆體印章款。表面光澤瑩潤，近於栗色。附木座。

There was probably at some stage an old shallow flake on the exterior of the mouthrim in front that has been smoothly polished, but overall the cup is in very good condition.

器底雕陽文篆書「韻夫」兩字，語焉未詳，論者甚多，然本款可解作「文士」，或指物主。此器典雅大方，雕工精細入微，選料上乘，犀角色呈淺金蜜，柔和悅目。青銅器自古乃達官貴人收藏上選，故此範銅取古型的角盃，結合瑞獸及仿古紋飾，極受青睞。仿古器宋時盛行，是以相關書冊、圖樣繁多，當中著錄紋飾，後世仿學甚廣，見於不同材質藝作。本器浮雕兩條靈活鮮動的螭龍，交纏成柄。其中較大的螭龍攀於器側，抓著口沿，把頭探進盃內，神態生動。未見與此相類之器著錄於冊，但可舉一例，為犀角浮雕仿古螭龍饕餮紋盃，尺寸略大，乃 Kenyon V. Painter 舊藏，器側飾小螭龍倚壁上爬，大螭龍則攀至盃沿，作擒噬之狀，氣勢磅礡，售於紐約蘇富比2007年9月18日，編號6。此器色澤油潤，包漿亮麗，想必久經摩挲。Jan Chapman 指出，淺金蜜色角雕，幾乎全屬精品，見《中國的犀牛角雕刻藝術》，倫敦，1999年，頁60。
