There are a few minor nicks around the footrings and a few original faint inclusions in the stone but overall the two bowls are in very good condition.

此對玉盌，素淨無紋，盡顯其玉石無瑕之美。可相比較之例，如現藏英國巴斯東亞藝術博物館之玉盌，曾展於該館之《Jades from China》，巴斯，1994年，編號340。Henry Brown of Stocks 舊藏一對玉盌，略小，售於倫敦蘇富比1947年3月25日，編號110，現入德安堂收藏，曾展於《玉緣：德安堂藏玉展》，故宮博物院，北京，2004年，編號113。英國劍橋費茲威廉博物館亦有一對玉盌，尺寸稍大，其中一盌錄於林政昇，《The Immortal Stone. Chinese Jades from the Neolithic Period to the Twentieth Century》，劍橋，2009年，圖版81。可相比較還有一只類同玉盌，藏於三藩市亞洲藝術博物館，錄於 Michael Knight 等，《Later Chinese Jades. Ming Dynasty to Early Twentieth Century》，三藩市，2007年，圖版113，作者指出，此類玉盌之薄壁，溯自瓷盌原型，為以呈現玉質之通透、玉色之純淨（詳見頁129）。

也可參考二件類同之乾隆年款玉盌，皆售於紐約蘇富比2007年3月19日，編號11及618，前者出自 Concordia House 收藏。Cottreau 收藏亦有一對玉盌，無款，售於紐約佳士得2008年9月17日，編號330。
