Arabic manuscript on paper, 281 leaves plus 3 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in neat Naskh script in black ink, verses separated by small gold roundels, illuminated foliate marginal devices throughout, margins ruled in blue and gold, catchwords, surah heading panels in gold but left blank, opening illuminated double page with rococo style floral decoration in colours and gold, the text within roundels, following double page with leafy gold scrolls in the outer margins, morocco binding with gilt decoration, with flap  

Condition

In good overall condition, illumination bright and calligraphy bold, pages generally clean, spine repaired, as viewed.
