text: surah al-balad (XC), verse 1 to part of verse 6; surah al-buruj (LXXXV), part of verse 19 to verse 22 (end of surah); surah al-tariq (LXXXVI), verse 1 to verse 9; surah al-fajr (LXXXIX), part of verse 23 to part of verse 30

Arabic manuscript on vellum, 7 lines to the page, written in Eastern Kufic script in brown ink, vocalisation in red, fifth verses marked with a stylised letter 'ha', surah headings on f.1b and f.2a in gold with large medallions stretching into the outer margins

In generally good condition, small tear to f.1b, old paper repair to reverse, some waterstaining, but ink generally bold, as viewed.
